Eight Hancock Property Transfers Recorded in Late Summer Period, Few Prices Disclosed
Hancock recorded eight property transfers between July 17 and Aug. 15, but only two carried disclosed sale prices: $137,000 for 161 Main St. and $390,000 for 37 Corey Rd., Unit 815, the period's most notable transaction. Those two prices produced a median of $263,500. Six of the eight recordings, including transfers at 276 Brodie Mountain Rd. and 6 Lebanon Springs Rd. and two acquisitions by Vacation Village in the Berkshires Owners Association Inc., did not disclose a price. With most transfers lacking price data, the available figures are not sufficient to characterize overall market tone this period.
