Four Hancock deeds recorded in past month, only one sale price disclosed
The Northern Berkshire Registry of Deeds recorded four Hancock property transfers between Aug. 14 and Sept. 12, but only one carried a disclosed sale price. That sale, 2495 Hancock Rd, sold for $385,600 on Aug. 18, sellers Chad L. Melanson to Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems Inc. and TD Bank N.A. The other three transfers, on Brodie Mountain Road, Corey Road and one address not specified in the data, closed without a disclosed price. Two of the four transfers named the same buyer, Vacation Village in the Berkshires Owners Association Inc. With price data available for only one of four deeds, the month's records do not support a broader read on Hancock's market direction.
